How?
Individually as the People of God
Pray peace and blessings over people Wherever You Go
Pray when you pass a house, enter the office, over phone calls
Pray for God to provide opportunities to get to know our neighbours
Corporately as Church
Pray through corporate and united prayer times with local churches – Adults from across the local churches praying Together
Children from across the churches praying Together
Youth from across the churches praying Together
Church Leaders praying Together
Church Prayer Intercessors from across the churches praying Together
Churches praying and walking around their local streets
GO
"Stay in that house eating and drinking"

“I have been given all authority in Heaven and on earth

We are called to be individually involved in Local Mission
Local ministries include Ministries to the Poor, such as Homelessness and local Night Shelters, Food shortage and Food Banks, Retail support and Business Chaplaincies
Corporately as the Church
The Local Church seeing local ministries as important to the call of “GOING”. The local Church supporting and hosting Ministries to the Poor
SERVE
"Heal the Sick"

"The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he has sent me to heal the broken hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised" Luke 4:18

I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink. I was a stranger and you invited me in. I needed clothes and you clothed me. I was sick and you looked after me”

How?
Individually as the People of God
Pray for God to give you opportunities to meet the needs of your neighbours and work colleagues through acts of random kindness, such as gardening, shopping and simple tasks
Providing service in your workplace, your neighbourhood, your local community, your local Church ministries –(ie Night Shelter, Business Chaplaincy, KidzKlub
Corporately as the Church
For churches to support and to get behind the local ministries, meet their needs & serve in these ministries to the community and the poor
TELL

We are to pray for opportunities to witness and bring people to Jesus
We are to practise telling our personal story of how we became Christians and to know how to bring someone to Christ when asked
Corporately as the Church
Is the Church of Today Relevant to the average person in the World?
Sadly for many the Church is irrelevant & disconnected from the community. People are bored with the Church? Only relevance is Christenings, weddings & funerals. Disconnected and disinterested in the needs of the local needs of the community. Yes people are bored with the Church but People are not bored with Jesus. They are bored with its modern significance and operation. The Church needs to show God's love and compassion though local ministries and support to the poor. The church needs to radiate Jesus. This is what God intended?

How the churches congregations can meet local needs?
How the churches finances can be used for local mission?
How the churches can support local church community ministries?
How the churches can give to international mission?
